Jaipur, India. The Pink City
You got your palaces and forts in towns, on lakes, on mountain tops-place is just crawling with forts,palaces temples etc. The town was painted pink, the color of welcome, in 1876 to welcome Prince Edward and is re-painted every year, by decree.
