I read about the Taj Mahal in high school and I thought I would never see it, but now I have! It was built as a mausoleum in 1631-53 by a Raj that was heartbroken when his second wife died giving birth to their 14th child. We also visited Agra fort in Agra and Fatehpur Sikri, a capitol city designed and built 1571-85 and then abandoned as a capital by a heir. By the way, Ramadan started on Aug 1st, one month of Muslims fasting from dawn to dusk, hasn't seemed to affect us, much.
